What If I Purchase A New Computer?
Many Jewelers purchase new computers at the end of the year. If you purchase a new computer, you must download the demo from our website. You will also backup your data from your old computer and restore it on the new computer. Please contact our office for complete instructions.
What kind of computer should I purchase?
- Our software is Windows based. This means it will run on a Dell, HP or any other Windows based computer.
- A MAC or Apple computer is NOT windows based. In order to use the software on an Apple computer, you must also purchase Bootcamp or some other Windows Emulation Program. You may also need to purchase Windows (check with your Apple dealer). There will be an additional cost for these items. Although several Jewelers run our software on an Apple computer, we can't guarantee how it will function.
Should I delete the software off my old computer?
- You should NEVER delete the software or get rid of your old computer until you have successfully restored your data on the new computer.
